This Colt is a 1918 military production Model 1911 SN 2862**. We assume that the AA stamps indicate that it was sent in for a military rebuild. This pistol is as solid as can be with no rust or scratches in the finish. There are some light handling marks, and a few small dings that appear to have been earned prior to the arsenal refinish. Shows some light holster wear marks in the usual places you would expect to see in a well loved gun that seems to have been carried very little since the refinish. Slide to frame play is tight and the grips are in great shape. The bore has strong rifling. This has no case or paperwork and comes with one seven round mag.
Buyer pays $20.00 shipping. This gun must be shipped to an FFL dealer for transfer, subject to all local laws. US sales only, no exports. NO RESERVE!!!

Yes, we ship to California, but please check with your dealer before bidding to make sure the gun is legal in California.
Yes, we will accept a Curio & Relic license, as long as the gun is on the ATF Curio & Relic list.
We ship handguns via Priority Mail, which takes 2-4 business days. Sorry, priority mail does not provide tracking numbers. We ship long guns via UPS Ground, which takes 4-7 working days. UPS sends a tracking number via email directly to the customer within 24 hours shipment. IMPORTANT: We are not able to provide tracking numbers over the phone.
We want you to be happy with your purchase. You have 3 days from the time of delivery to your dealer for inspection. If you are unhappy for any reason, please return it for a refund. Please note, guns may not be fired during the inspection period. We do not offer price adjustments. Shipping charges are not refundable. If you have any questions, please contact us before bidding.
We visually inspect all firearms, but we do not test fire them. All firearms should be inspected by a qualified gunsmith if purchased other than as collectibles.
