Seller's Description:
Please look at all the photos and read the entire auction. I am finally starting to run low on these! Four still in grease remaining as I compose this re-write... These are in very close to perfect condition. Mechanically perfect! Emphasis should be placed on the last half dozen or so photos. I mean to degrease the last few as they sell. That may delay the one YOU get by a day or two. This dark, ugly grease you may even see in bits on some of the photos--I do them two or three at a time, detailing with pipe cleaners and toothpicks. Specimens shown are typical. If you need a particular date or marking, contact me and I'll double check. On the last couple I photographed, I did not get all the heavy brown grease off before doing photography...no, that is NOT rust. See the feedback. And bear in mind the message system here exists to facilitate bidding. Listed as "excellent", by NRA antique standards in use here, but I am generally sending the best of each degreased pair first, and all I have now are close to mint, the very WORST are NRA "excellent" ++ as of now, and I generally lately have at least three, sometimes as many as seven. I will be completely re-doing the photos featuring that one some time before the middle of May. See the bottom five to seven shots for a few current or nearly current ones. I am selling these very fast. Check my feedback, between here and the "other site" I have sold about 20 of these, and people LOVE them and their overall quality and condition!!! Again: check the words of actual consumers who have received these from me and were startled in a positive way. Otherwise, I ship the one first which looks best to me. Some confusion: the "white" you see in lubricating areas is lithium grease. I have not lubricated a firearm with "gun oil" in over thirty years, and never will again. Also, the white highlights at the edges of the slide are photographic reflections, NOT WEAR. These guns show no appreciable finish wear at all except where the safety detent spring describes an arch in its "well". There may be touches of holster wear, and that'll be about it. You're looking at photo highlights which define the shape. I will send the best of each degreased pair first, though really, the last dozen, one could toss a coin! They're being sold ONE AT A TIME. Barrels are superb, functioning flawless. Am using several to illustrate. As inventory changes (I have plenty!), I'll periodically update the photos. Magazine numbers do NOT match, albeit the mags often appear to be NEW.
holster, spare reddish-brownish grip set included. PHOTO with cartridges ILLUSTRATES AMMO AVAILABLE, THE AMMO IS NOT INCLUDED!!! I am especially fond of this loading, which is somewhat more potent than .380, and is now available from several U.S. manufacturers, including Hornady, Speer, Winchester, and Federal. S&B markets very nice, reasonably priced rounds, too. Accepts all PM Makarova magazines and
accessories--Soviet, East German, Bulgarian, or Chinese, and any other dedicated PM paraphenalia from the last forty years or so. These have a great reputation for accuracy and
reliability, and are about the right size for convenient carry, in whatever way is legal in your venue. Note: I have used several pistols for the photos, but only ONE is for sale per auction.
These are actual East Bloc military
Makarovs, not the commercials, and normally these carry a small premium. Again: loading
is 9x18 Makarov, not 9x19 or .380, although weirdly, I have seen these superb little pistols
fire .380 (not very accurately! The .380 bullet is .355, whereas these bores are about .363") without
even much confusion! Clearly marked with the "circle 10" Warsaw Pact country/arsenal identifier. These are selling even faster than I anticipated!!!
$22 SHI full insured lower 48. Figure about twelve + bucks more if this has to go FEDEX, which it will to C&R holders. Also, if to a residence via fedex, add another couple of dollars. Check the feedback here, or ask questions if need be. Personal or company checks are acceptable, but may cause a day to a few days' delay in shipping your item, due to clearance considerations. If you have questions, ask them BEFORE bidding, not after. I am FFL--all laws and rules apply. No shipments to California FFL's except upon payment of a $20 paperwork fee to complete the pre-clearance required by CA-DOJ.
