Please Know your local laws. Magazines will not be shipped to any district that prohibits 15 count magazines. Buyer must be 18, and have a non C&R FFL to have rifle transferred to.

This is a First Generation USGI Spec Universal M1 Carbine. The serial number is 6433. This gun would have been made in 1960-1962. This M1 Carbine is made of USGI spec parts, some of which are original USGI parts.

See list below for all USGI parts.

Bolt - A.I. = Inland Division
Slide - SG = Saginaw Steering Gear
Magazine Release - IH = International Harvester
Rear Sight - I.R.CO. = Rock Ola Mfg. Co.
Barrel Band - C = C. Cowles & Co.

Trigger Housing is USGI Spec, and all parts are interchangeable with USGI M1 Carbines.

If legal in your district, these (3) 15 round Magazines are included, which are all WWII issue. (Bullets not included)

Magazine 1 - BW = Winchester
Magazine 2 - K.I. = Inland Division
Magazine 3 - KSG = Saginaw Steering Gear

Also Included is both a wood and metal front hand guard.

Wood is great shape, I think the date on the stock is Sep. 4 1952, which would make it an original USGI stock. The various metal finishes are in excellent shape, and the bore is bright. Gun shoots great.

Note, only the Generation 1 Universal M1 Carbines are compatible with USGI M1 Carbines, specifically ones with serial numbers before #1875X. Starting with serial #1875x, the trigger housing was redesign, and starting at about serial #929xx, Universal became much more creative, and completely redesigned their "M1 Carbine". This redesigned "M1 Carbine", is the Second Generation which use a completely different slide that is know to cracking from average use.

        A: I am sorry, I just meant that they are sold separately in the broad since. As in that they were not included. I find it to much trouble to ship ammo, unless it is very rare collectible ammo. Richard 03/23/2012

        A: I do not think that the barrel is GI issue. I cannot find any markings on it. Also, the Trigger housing is GI spec, but not GI issue, and some of the components in the trigger housing could be GI issue, but I do not know how to break it down to check. 03/26/2012
