Seller's Description:
Gun retains an even age patina overall with some light to moderate pitting. Excellent working order. Not all numbers are matching. Markings are legible. There are NO capture papers with this gun. Has what appears to be a period correct sling on it. Stock has some battle damage, and is cracked. Stock looks to have had an extra coat of varnish applied and an arsenal repair to the left side (visible in pictures). Original bayonet. NOT IMPORT MARKED. Excellent chrome lined bore. Original cleaning rod. Serial number is 12331631
