Seller's Description:
Marlin model 1892, sn 68xxx, actually made during 1892 according to my research. This particular gun is set to be rimfire but it can also be center fire by changing the firing pin. I am not sure if this means a different firing pin or the one in there is turned up side down. Bluing faded, a nice amount of case color on the receiver. Only surface rust I found is a small spot near the rear sight. Looks like the stock was re-varnished. This is an antique and can be shipped directly to the buyer.
