Thread Title: "trappers turkey"
Hagrid Hope I can do this right. Two birds I shot in Mass on the same day. The one with the gun in it weighed 23 Lbs, 8 inch beard and 1 1/4 inch spurs. The second is 17 LBS 4 inch beard and hardly any spurs, I figure about 2 yrs old. Trapper

Hagrid Split, Thanks. I used a mossberg 835 utility Mag. It is scoped and patterns well at 50 yds. I used winchester double XX 3 1/2 inch mags. #4's. I have taken three this yr and only the Jake flopped and he was about 55 yds out in a field. Trapper

(no avatar) peterguns you called him ugly, he may think you mean that's how he got them birds uglelyed them to death, hope they are no tore up as bad as when my 1st and 3rd wifes done it with ducks. i had to stop hunting on acount of that, the i got married the 4th time and i had to use a gun. 2nd wife was to young to hunt!!!!!!
