Thread Title: "goodbye auction arms"
(no avatar) it is with great regret that i have to share this. i am never going to use this auction again. i successfully alerted the "heat" to dakota30545 creating shills on this site and he was shut down. he was formerly smt. he is now winn825. he listed some ammo the other day that belonged to me. i had no proof but i do have another box with the same lot #. the ammo was left there on consignment when i worked there. iwas outbid on my ammo by $1 by a deadbeat bidder tatortot whose account was disabled. i was offered no opportunity to honor my bid of $1 less. i would have paid cash the next day. i guess aa needs a three time shill seller worse than they need me. same store same owner diferrent internet salesperson same shill philosphy....goodbye aa!!!!

(no avatar) yes you are on a reprieve here. you should also notice or admit that winn825 has not had an active auction in quite some time, so since you wouldn't believe me i did what i had to do to get him off this site !!!! my objective was met. i am glad you dont mind me trying to make you some money!!! lololol

(no avatar) just another update, winn825 is gone.shill sellers get ate up by their own thievery. btw aa your welcome. it has now came to my attention that at the very least these two sellers are using gunbroker and aa to sell same guns. they are bakardi_koke and ae50mag. g'broker has #64365206 and aa has the same gun and pictures#7440531 with a different buy it now price. if anyone cares please police the site better. if i can find this anybody can. if anyone can explain why this is a good auction practice i will cheerfully listen. how much is aa going to tolerate for the almighty dollar...red

(no avatar) hiline, Why don't you email the seller and ask them what the serial # is, he may have more than two of the same item. I as a dealer have as many as 10-12 guns same mfg.same model, same caliber and would use the same pictures as long as the serial # wasn't showing. If I take a picture and it does show the serial # I won't use that picture on another site, but I would use all of the other pictures that way I would only have to take one picture of one gun ony, even though I had taken 10 or more, I could use 9 of the pictures for all of the same.460

(no avatar) dear 460mag, did you even bother to research my info before posting such a stupid reply? i was not talking about a ruger 10-22 for $79.00. i was talking about a $2800.00 h-s precision rifle. who do you know that has more than one in stock? noone on this site. back to my original question please!!!

Former Seller: 460MAG(17-0-0) Post#15 - Posted: 01/21/2007 at 07:54:36
(no avatar) hiline, Well the only way I may feel its stupid to have in stock over $300k invested in firearms and ammo, and yes I do have multi guns that cost 2-3k + and if I sent you pictures and didn't show you the serial #'s you would say it's the same gun. I stock guns all the way up to 460 Weatherby, 440 Corbon's etc. and I could make you a long list of expensive guns that I stock, plus I stock ammo for them also, I have 6 of the 460's in stock at present time, I have sold 2 in the last month. I just believe that before you make judgement and post it for the world to see and read you need to know that IT IS POSSIBLE to have more than one expensive gun of the same o same o for sale at the same time, and I only have 1 Ruger 10-22 in stock. And if you have all of this time to hunt for double auctions at different sites on your hands why don't you contact AA and they may make you the OFFICIAL POLICING INSPECTOR of this site, and after RE-READING your posts while you are discussing the position of OFI with AA ask them to start a new category called the WHINER section just for you. Regards

(no avatar) dear 460mag, would you please answer my question? let me ask you again. have you looked at the #'s i provided to see for yourself if it is the same gun? i am left to believe that you think it is okay to use both sites for the same gun. i am sorry you feel so violated because i found this and i'm trying to protect the conumers who use this site including you....red...a.k.a. by you whiner

Seller: Petesguns(314-0-0) Post#17 - Posted: 01/21/2007 at 16:15:06
Petesguns Alot of sellers use both the same photos for multiple auctions, and also advertise the same gun on multiple sites. I have seen the same gun, (yes, same serial numbers), on three different sites at the same time. BOY, it would be interesting to see the seller clone three out of one! Anyway, it is against AA terms and conditions to use file photos, all photos must be of the exact item being offered. It is also against AA rules to list the same item on two sites at the same time. AA has an exclusivity clause. MANY sellers do not abide by this, and most get away with it unless they get turned in by a member. When they do, they get cat herded very quickly, indeed.

(no avatar) thank you, thank you, thank you, that's all i was trying to do here! i search several sites using same search criteria and found sellers using multiple sites for same guns using same pictures using same descriptions. i wanted to make consumers aware and all i got was second guessed by sellers. i have been doing this long enough to know exactly what i am doing thanks pete, finally a friendly voice of reason...red....aka....whiner
