Thread Title: "NWARMORY calls me HARD TO PLEASE!"
(no avatar)

I just contacted NWARMORY about their lack of description on their auction ad's. They said I am HARD TO PLEASE. I have watched their auctions for a few years now, interested in bidding on their firearms. They have NEVER had a description of their firearms in their ad's. Under DESCRIPTION, they give and advertisement of their services and guarrenties a mile long, BUT NO DESCRIPTION! They do offer a 3-day return policy, most likely to examine the firearm yourself, but if it is not up to your likeing, you just loose your shipping both ways! There is no other company on AA that shuns even a cursery description of their firearms. I believe it shows a lack of appreciation for it's bidders and a very HUGE EGO.

What the HECK are you talking about???

EVERY single auction they have has a FULL description of the items.

Go back and open your eyes!

If you have found one auction that does not have a description, then post the auc. number. Undecided

....and not only that, but their pictures are some of the absolute best on AA.

Picked at random ... sounds like a description to me ... and a pretty good one at that.

Northwest Armory

Celebrating our 20th Anniversary
Family owned & operated since 1992

Here is a Winchester Post 64 Model 94 in 30-30 Winchester. The 20 inch barrel has a bright and shiny bore with strong rifling. Someone has painted or applied a baked on finish to the metal. The finish is scratched/chipped in several places on the barrel and receiver. The receiver has been ground down on the left side. The stocks have been refinished. The length of pull is 13 1/2 inches, including the original Winchester plastic butt plate. Appears to be in working order, but it is not pretty. Serial number is 42271**. Buyer pays $20.00 shipping for a handgun, $25.00 for a long gun (48 states). This gun must be shipped to an FFL dealer for transfer, subject to all local laws. US sales only, no exports. NO RESERVE!!!

WHIPPET1

I GUESS YOU SAW THAT THEY SAID THEY WERE AT A FIREARMS SHOW IN PORTLAND AND STARTED AUCTION BUT DID NOT HAVE THE TIME TO ADD THE FULL DESCRIPTION.  NOW THE WAY I KNOW THOSE PEOPLE I CAN GUARANTEE THAT DESCRIPTION WOULD BE ADDED IN AT LEAST 3 DAYS OF THE START OF AUCTION ON A SEVEN DAY AUCTION. SO YOU HAVE 4 DAYS LEFT TO GO BACK AND READ IT IF YOU DECIDE TO BID.

BY GOING AFTER THIS GREAT SELLER THIS WAY AND A PERSONAL FRIEND OF MINE I WOULD NOT BE SURPRISED IF HE ADDED YOU TO HIS BIDDERS BLOCK LIST. REMEMBER THE OLD SAYING.  "WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND"

          GOOD LUCK IN THE FUTURE!

Karl, Jeani and the gang at NWA are good people and good friends.  If the descriptions are not yet posted it is not because they are lazy or trying to pull a fast one on anybody.  These guys work hard all the time and often don't have enough time to fill in the full description before starting an auction.  Getting the auctions started (without a description) gets the ball rolling so that they can come back and "fill in the blanks" as time permits while at the same time letting their regular customers know what's going to be on auction that week.  Believe it of not, taking good photos and writing descriptions takes a fair amount of time.  I'd offer this small piece of advice...if the description isn't there and it worries you, don't bid....simple as that.  Just wait till the description is posted, it'll come.  And regardless of anything else, the folks at NWA will stand behind what they sell.  That's it for me....I've got a few descriptions to get caught up!

People will bid on JTD auctions without a description, though he always adds one later.

Now that a couple of the absolute best sellers on the site have chimed in with their high opinion of NWA, maybe whippet1 will now skulk off and we can end this thread.

Hiya, Herbie!
