Thread Title: "Please help asap"
(no avatar)

Hello,

I had an item listed here and a little while ago got notification that the auction had ended with a winner.  Upon going to cancel the auction of the same gun on another website, I noticed that there was also a  bidder on the other website.  I checked to see when the bids were placed and the bidder on the other website was first.  I am distraught and don't want to look like the bad seller.  WHAT DO I DO?

There are lessons and then there hard lessons, the ones you learn the hard way.  The latter are the best learned.  The fact that you came before one and all and admitted your mistake will go a long way toward establishing your credibility here.

Most of all, take Bubba J's advice (not advice I usually give Wink ) and RTM (Read The Manual).  If you have questions after that, you will find The Management and the usual group of hooligans hanging out on The Forums ever-helpful and usually spot on with their advice.

Hartwell Gun

Neither site should gripe they both will receive their commission. No one is raising the bid for profit, they are only ending the auction,on one site, to solve a issue which arose from a mistake in judgement.

Thanks guys.  Some may say its stupid to post it "aloud" but I would rather be honest.  I am a man who can admit his mistakes and in this instance I made a mistake.  I have definitely learned from it.

I don't have to admit my mistakes.  My wife is more than willing to admit to anyone and everyone every mistake I've made since the day I met her.   Surprised
