Thread Title: "Does seller reserve the right to end an Auction with bids to sell locally?"

Auction Item #10279083 is probably gonna have and angry high bidder. Seller states in description, "Item is for sale locally, I reserve the right to end auction early." There are 2 Hours, 55 Minutes, 2 Seconds left in the Auction with 6 bids and the high bidder has met the reserve and the seller has posted the following message, "SORRY GUN HAS BEEN SOLD LOCALLY." It was my understanding that this is a no no. Isn't this a violation?

Pooof!!he is gone. You cannot sell a gun locally that has bids on it that meet the reserve. He IS in violation of T & C. 0-0-0 feedback. I can't see him getting away with this one.    Trapper

SA, he is breaking the rules as Hagrid said. IF there is a reserve and the bids don't make the minimum, then he can end it early. If there are no bids that meet a minimum opening bid, it can be ended early, but many new guys that have no idea what the T&C even are, think they can list it here, get bids and still sell it in the shop. As soon as a reserve is met or an opening minimum bid is met, it MUT be sold here. They are sorely mistaken. It is usually the newbie sellers that do this, as in the above example.

POOF! I guess CruelHandChris did not agree with the rules that he

agreed to abide by in the beginning! "My Boy Sez He can Eat Fifty Eggs!

He Can Eat Fifty Eggs!" Sorry an obscure Cool Hand Luke reference.

Sorry, but y'all are all aware that there is something seriously wrong

with me. A direct short between my ears, according to my wife.

"What we have here is a failure to communicate." I love that movie! Just a little off subject, but I started it.
