| (no avatar) | This subject has been a topic of discussion often. It seems that some sellers tend to think they get more coverage in certain categories and then some could make a mistake when listing. AA can't watch and control everythin. The best option, in my opinion, would be for the membership to patrol these areas and contact theses sellers by clicking on their names and state that they are in the wrong category. If enough folks would did this, hopefully they would get the message. |

| (no avatar) | Or I have been doing just that here and there and the rotten responses I have gotten let me tell you-- I had to start a list of folks that I do not want to do business with because I could not remember all the names |

AS A SELLER, LOTS OF TIMES WE THINK WE CAN GET EXTRA TRAFFIC IN A SECOND CATEGORY AND WE CAN PAY AN EXTRA FEE TO GET IT THERE.
NOW IF I WAS SELLING A .22 CONVERSION KIT FOR A 1911 I WOULD PUT ON AUTOMATIC PISTOLS AND IN PARTS SO MORE COULD SEE IT. THAT'S WHY MOST DO IT AND IF YOUR A SELLER YOU CAN GET PEOPLE WHO JUST SPOT IT AND THEN BID.

| (no avatar) | but WillieTa it messes things up to find rifles in the middle of pistols and such and really gets things screwed up when you find a flag in the middle of the guns and such |

BNPHUNTER 357 I SEE YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHAT I AM SAYING. WITH THE 22 CONVERSION KIT FOR THE 1911 PEOPLE WILL SPOT IT AND WANT IT UNDER SEMI AUTO PISTOLS. THEY WONT BE LOOKING IN PARTS AS THERE LOTS OF PARTS ON SITE. IF YOU HAVE A BEEF TAKE IT UP WITH AA SINCE THEY GAVE US THE OPTION TO LIST IN 2 CATEGORIES BY PAYING AN EXTRA FEE. NOW IF YOU PUT YOURSELF IN A SELLERS SHOES TRYING TO SHOW YOUR ITEM TO AS MANY POSSIBLE CUSTOMERS AS YOU CAN AND AT THE SAME TIME HELPING YOUR CONSIGNEE GET MORE FOR THEIR ITEM. ALSO YOU HAVE THE CHOICE TO SCROLL RIGHT PAST THE ITEM AND NOT CLICK ON IT AND OPEN IT UNLESS YOUR HEART DESIRES TO LOOK. NUF SAID |

| (no avatar) | So what, then would be the point of having catagories? |

| (no avatar) | WILLIE TA I fully understand what you are saying and agree that those kinds of things make sense and I do scan right past those--they are sensible what I am talking about is when rifles are listed with pistols or there are flags listed in the handgun catergory and such-- or dehydrated food listed with rifles and things like that--there is no correlation between products then they ought not be listed there-- I fully understand having related products together and part of what my purpose was to bring it to the attention of AA since they have been reading some of the forums recently And I serious doubt that the guy selling the dehydrated food even has a consignee that he is dealing with--he is a store that is trying to make more sales and thus lists his stuff in every single catergory he can and in the process messing things up for everyone-- the related products make sense however but not the things I was commenting on--by the way Willie TA I am not some newby nut case I have been here for a while and am not new to forums either I have been in these forums long enough to know that it is not unusual for you to use caps in all your replies and so do not get up in arms over as some others have in the past |

BNPHUNTER 357 THAT GUY WITH THE FOOD ADVERTISING HIS OWN SITE IS HISTORY. NOW I CAN SEE YOUR POINT ALSO YES AA DOES NOT PATROL THE SITE AS THEY SHOULD. 99% OF THE PEOPLE WHO GET ACCOUNTS CLOSED ON THIS SITE IS A DIRECT RESULT OF THE PEOPLE WATCHING. NOW AS FAR AS FLAGS THEY SHOULD NOT BE LISTED IN THE FIREARM CATEGORY BUT IF THE SELLER IS FEATURING IT AND PUTTING MONEY IN AA's POCKET DO YOU THINK THEY WILL STOP HIM? THE NAME OF THE GAME IS TO MAKE MONEY ANY WAY YOU CAN. CASE CLOSED |
