Bob... It doesn't surprise me in the least. I learn something new every day in this forum, one way or another. Looking up answers for older or obscure gun questions isn't done solely for the questioner's benefit. The pursuit of knowledge can be addictive, when it is in your field of interest. Just tonight, I finally figured out that the contributors typing LOL were saying "laugh out loud", and NOT "lots of luck"!! All those darned abbreviations coming out of text messaging, and I won't even carry a phone with me unless the company supplies it and pays for it. Progress isn't always beneficial to peace of mind! In some cases gnb may be playing the devils advocate in making all of us look at things from another point of view and making us think about questioning accepted answers and opinions that are after all just opinions and not facts until proven. I know he certainly cause me to think about things that in the past i`ve just accepted as fact that were not. axolotl |
