Thread Title: "What would you do?"
(no avatar) I purchased a rifle a couple of weeks ago from a seller with good "Feed Back". Received the rifle around 2:30pm Apr.29 and notified the seller. On May 1 I was cleaning the rifle when I noticed a bulge in the barrel. I finished cleaning the rifle. On May 1 I sent an email telling the seller that I would return the rifle May the 4th and why I was returning it. This morning May 2 I had some slack time, got the rifle packaged and shipped.I sent the seller an email telling them that the rifle was shipped and gave them a confirmation #. This afternoon May 2 I received an email telling me that I had gone over the 3 day inspection period but they would take the rifle back. That all shipping was at my expense. They said that it is in their add. No where can I find this statement in their add. But I do find 2 places where they say that the bore is good. If I had of returned the rifle because I just did not like it, I can see where I should pay shipping. But when the seller makes a mistake, why should the buyer have to pay shipping? Thanks
