Thread Title: "Total number of purchases and sales"
(no avatar) I have been away from the Forum for a while so bear with me if I bring up the subject of feedback and an item already discussed. So, here goes. Could AA list the total number of sales and/or purchases for each member in their feedback summary. I probably have about 100+ purchases on this site, but I only have 72 feedbacks (71 positives and 1 neutral). The lack of feedback has been discussed and I don't want to go there, but I think just letting sellers know that I have had "X" number of purchases might help a little to counteract the missing feedback ratings.

(no avatar) gov2mod: Since we are not responsible for the actions of others and cannot determine why some people perform as they do, I don't think anyone would look at your example and think you were at fault for the lack of feedback from buyers. I certainly would not. I agree with axolotl. I would look at your statistics and determine you have done all you were required to do. That would be a plus to the present system. I cannot get that information from the feedback as it is displayed now. If it is there, someone would have to show me.

Bubba J As previously inferred, I really believe that with the issue of feedback, it may not necessarily be the number of them that counts, but the comments within each. These comments directly reflect how the poster really feels in most cases.

I have bought from one particular seller here on AA a couple of tomes that does leave feedback when he accumulates enough sales to evidently make it worth his effort. However, in my two cases, it has been just a positive with no words or comments. I try to leave comments that will give the seller/buyer, and anyone else who reads their feedback a good indication of what transpired during our dealings. I feel that this is more meaningful for all. JMVHO
