Thread Title: "I need a scope 4 to 12 or so for 22 rimfire indoor target rifle"
(no avatar)

I just tried to sight in my Old model Browning T-bolt and my eyes suck. I can't see well enough thru a 2 to 7 scope to see the scoring rings on the target to aim well enough to shot groups indoors at 25 yards. I see that a Mueller 8 to 32 scope is good for outdoor shooting but I think it has too much power for me to shoot inside.

My boss uses a 24 power target scope to shoot at the same club with me but I have problems holding still enough with that scope to be accurrate.

I am open to any ideas. The gun has a set of Burris 1 inch medium hieght rings on it.

Mueller also makes a 4.5-14 that is nice, Leupold 4-14, Nikon 4-14...take your pick.

4x12 will fit the bill. Any scope will do inside. Bushnell,Swift,BSA can all be had for under 150 bucks.    Trap

It has to have an adjustable objective for the short inside distance.

Stan you will also want something with a very fine reticle. You don't want the crosshairs to completely cover the small targets used indoors.

Hart, You ever use a mueller??? I have never seen one around here. I just ordered a tasco 4x16x40 for my Ruger#1 243. Cheap scope I know but it's not a 458 mag and  the price on sale was 79.00 free shipping.   Trap
