| (no avatar) | Well ; we can't keep all the good ones with us . We have to share with the MASTER. But there is one thing about it ; in reading his feedback , I feel REAL satisfied as to where he is right now . A BAD person doesn't build feedback like that . I only hope that one day this 444 can measure up to his feedback . SEE YOU LATER OLD FRIEND !!! |

While it's been quite awhile since we last dealt, I only have praise for him. It's a shame we have to lose the good ones. It would be nice however if you could find a nicer way of saying he's no longer with us when you check his feedback. Those large red letters stating that "This user's account has been DISABLED" just doesn't look right. |

We received a nice note from Heather Williams, Frank's daughter and thought I'd post it to the forum
Thank you very much for your condolences. I appreciate all of the nice things you had to say about my father. He will be greatly missed by alot of people. It was also a great shock for us to lose him. He actually stayed at his gun shop through the hurricane. He went through alot. He was stuck in his attic for 2 days, then he cut his way out. He was on his roof when a boat came by and rescued him. For the next few days, he was routed around to several shelters and ended up in the Astrodome in Houston, Texas. That is where we found him and brought him home with us. He was doing good. He then decided to make a trip out to his gun shop to see what he could salvage. Unfortunately, before he even entered the gun shop, he collapsed from heart failure. I think the last few weeks were extremely stressful on his heart. He died at 72. He was a great father, an excellent and knowledgable gunsmith, and a good person. Thank you again for the email. It was very thoughtful. He always spoke highly of everyone he dealt with at Auction Arms. |

| (no avatar) | I lost touch with many people from St. Bernard. I just thought to Google Frank's name. I am not surprised that he stayed for Katrina. It is sad to hear of Mr. Chambers' passing, even THREE YEARS later. I spent some time visiting with him, in Meraux, over the course of a couple of years before hurricane Katrina. What a character, and so generous with his time! Frank tried so hard to give up gunsmithing (or so he told me!). I guess he's finally resting. Thank you, Mr. Chambers, for sharing your knowledge, and time, with me. |
