Thread Title: "Network Solutions Outage"
AuctionArmsCeo Last week, we were informed that a small number of folks weren't able to access Auction Arms. After some investigation, we discovered that a major DNS provider for the internet, Network Solutions, lost a DNS for about an eight hour period. (A DNS is a Domain Name Server. It provides the IP address of a website that has been requested by name. Without a DNS, you wouldn't be able to view www.cnn.com, www.lds.org, or www.auctionarms.com.) Network Solutions is a major provider, and this outage affected more than Auction Arms. If you are still having trouble connecting to any portion of Auction Arms, feel free to give us a call as we need this information in order to verify if there might still be a problem. Sorry for the trouble.
