D2D - How would you propose to allow new bidders to the site if you did not allow them to bid? What we need is totally prescreened buyers and sellers, so that we don't have to put up with deadbeats. Buyers have problems, too, with sellers that don't ship in a timely manner, sell the gun out from under the auction winner, or just don't honor the auction because the price wasn't what they wanted. It works on both sides of the fence. Doesn't mean it is not aggravating. |

For: LarryS1943 D2D - How would you propose to allow new bidders to the site if you did not allow them to bid? What we need is totally prescreened buyers and sellers, so that we don't have to put up with deadbeats. Easy, allow the sellers without having to PAY to screen new bidders with no feedback. If they contact the seller asking to bid. That is a good indication they will follow thorugh. And they could be added to the sellers “Okay” to bid list. Buyers have problems, too, with sellers that don't ship in a timely manner, sell the gun out from under the auction winner, or just don't honor the auction because the price wasn't what they wanted. It works on both sides of the fence. Doesn't mean it is not aggravating. Yes, there are problems on both sides. HOWEVER!! There is one big difference. A bidder has the choice to bid on a seller’s item. They can look at their feedback and go from there. A SELLER!! Has no choice to deal with a potential bidder at this time.
