Here are the measurements

Standard Blazer 22LR: .982 OAL, .222 at the heal of the bullet, .222 at the base of the cartridge, .272 rim diameter, .042 rim thickness.

Weird cartridge on the Right : .904 OAL, No heal but the base of the bullet at the case is .212 with a crimp, Case diameter is .247, .305 rim diameter, .055 rim thickness. H head stamp.

This cartridge will not fit in a 22LR chamber.

I bought a 35lb box of loose miscellaneous ammo today and for the most part know what everything is but there is this round, A few blanks and some what appears to be 9x19 stuff but I don't really know.  I did come across 2 357 maximum cartridges, 50 32S&W shorts, a ton on 25acp and 9mm.

The guy I got the box from has 6 other box's like this one and 1 60lb box, but it was like pulling teeth getting this one box!

The 50 32S&W shorts I will sell along with the 100-200 25acp but the rest I will keep.

Thanks KRP, It is the 22 Win Auto, Not to be confused with the 22 Rem Auto that has a an OAL of .963 and a case Diameter of .241

All I needed was a slight push in the right direction.

 THANKS AGAIN KRP!

OMJ - Be careful with what you think are blanks.

A friend gave me a handful of what he swore were .22 "blanks", that are actually brass-crimped-shot-shells!!!

Surprised

OMJ how old are the 25 auto's? do they look old enough with letters on the primers to be corrosive or are they fairly new?

 Stan

Brain, good looking out for your fellow man, I did get one 45ACP that I thought was a blank only to find out it is an old style 45acp shot shell.

Stan, The 25acp looks to be fairly new when sorting them I did not see anything that looked to be real old and did not notice any letters stamped on primers.  If you are interested I will get a count and get back to you on a BIN.
