First off I ordered some pre-primmed 24 guage shells, some Maxi-Nitro 24 guage .125 cards and a Lee 60cal round ball mold. The package came two days early so I put off some of the "honey due's" today because I've been itching to shoot this rifle form the day I set my hands on it. To get started I took a standard pre-primmed shell

And cut it down to 2" over all Here are the tools I used.
The small copper piece is the mandrel and the black mark represents the 2" mark.

Oops, I got ahead of myself. This is what the shell looks like after cutting it down.

Next I charged it with 65grs (by volume) of American Pioneer powder FFG, I like this stuff! |

Then I placed a .125 Nitro-Maxi card down.
And seating it firmly to the powder charge. |

I then placed a thin cookie of my proprietary bullet lube on top of the card.

Next it to seat the freshly made 320gr 60Cal round ball that I made from range backstop lead, Sprue up.
