Thread Title: "Weaver Detachable Side Mount Screws"
Squirrel_Assassin

Howdy, I'm trying to find a set of thumb screws for a Weaver detachable side mount, like the Weaver Model #49350. Can't seem to find these screws anywhere. If you got 'em I'll buy 'em. Thanks a bunch.

Hey SA, I looked through my stuff and come up with nothing...

But here is an Idea, On the other side of your ring mounts there should be a large kerneled "nuts" to tighten down the scope rings to the scope base, Those kerneled nuts would fit the bill if you were to find some screws with the proper pitch to thread into your action.  But here is the trick, those kerneled nuts have a "screw" that goes into them and that screw is peened so it will not fully back out, you either need to A) file that peen off or B) cut the "screw" from the scope base and just take the nut of that way, Then you take the properly thread screw and cut the head off of it and RED lock tight it to the kerneled nut, And just like that you have a set of removable screws for your base.

oldmanjeffers: The rings and the bracket are 1 piece. I can take the bottom mount and fit some screws to them but was hopping I can get a hold of the thumb screws. Thanks for replying Bud.

Krp57: I saw those at Brownells earlier when I started my search, sold out rats! Thanks for replying and if you find any I'll buy.

gov2mod: I actually talked with a guy at Weaver and they are in the middle of moving to Oroville California so its gonna be a month before they can do anything. Thanks for replying gov.

Axolotl: Let me know I will stand by patiently. Thanks Brother

Wali: Hows it going Bud?
