Thread Title: "i have a question about the sig pro 250s' 2 sums"
(no avatar)

i have a question about the sig pro 250s' 2 sums

how are the barrels marked to identify them to the correct slide/firearm as i have 2 - 2sums in a 40 cal plus a pro 250 single in a 40 cal and there are no serial numbers or match markings on the barrels and or slides and by chance i have 2 - 2 sums in the 9 mm

some ranges do not let you break down your weapon on site for cleaning so i guess you may not be able to reconfigure your sig also

so i just bought 2 of each as the price was quite reasonable here and of course the service was excellent from the site and all the people i spoke with when ordering and staying in touch throughout the bidding and paying and shipping process were very professional and friendly

any answers or should i just mark/tag them myself

i thought about maybe selling or trading some of the extras that are not the actual firing mechanism as i may not need them, or should i just keep them as extra parts, are they listed as sets that should not be broken down ????????

or am i just asking stupid questions

They aren't marked. You can mix and match 'em however you want.

http://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/2012/04/chris-dumm/gun-review-sig-sauer-p250-9mm-2sum/

The neatest thing about the .40 cal is you can just buy a .357 sig barrel in the proper size to match the slide and use all of the rest of the .40 cal  gun Magazine, Slide, action assy., and grip module and you now have a .357 sig gun it all fits for the .357 sig round and the .40 round

!

It is a great shooting gun. I was at the range yesterday and as regulary hitting the 100 yd. steel 8" plate with my subcompact in 9MM. The full size has roughly the same sight radius as my 1911.

I have wondered the same thing. I have the 250 in a 9mm, and was wondering if I could assemable it with differant barrels

i was thinking more on the legal aspect but now i read the atf considers the 2sum one gun, i guess each barrel markings are recorded ??? and yes the 357 can be switched out and keep the same mag

my main concern was getting parts mixed up like the barrels of one of the 40's with another 40 in the same length as i have more than one sets,

i have yet to find a sitter for my 3 and a half year old as i am basic single dad so i have not had the pleasure of shooting them yet but i have lots of ammo.......

one thing i think i did read is about the 45 being different

anyone know or have one

WALI - Did you really just ask how you cannot edit the thread title posting?

"Because I said you can't, that's why."  Ever hear that from Momma?   Wink
