That works. My daughter went on a date and I sat there cleaning a gun when he picked her up. I told him to have her back at 10:00 and he had her back at 9:35. I didnt let him leave until 10:05 asking him about the outing cleaning another rifle at the same time. Never had any problems out of him. |

| (no avatar) | I often met my daughters suiters with a rifle in my gunvise on the frontporch or tore down on the table in the diningroom. If he asked me if that is a Rem 700, M1 Garand, 1894 Win, ect. I'd have a conversational in and would often talk to the guy for hours much to my daughter's disgust. If he asked what the heck does a guy need with guns around the house he got the bum's rush and I usually never saw him again. In the long run my daughters ended up thanking me.
