They don't look the same, but I don't see anything -wrong- with either version here. What specifically is the problem you see? |

| (no avatar) | Bubba J - I only looked at 2 of your items in the new format. I did see some of your descritions on top of each other - now I'm using Windows XP with IE8. That's the problem I see with a lot of websites when they upgrade their software because the techies want to play with the latest and greatest software and they don't consider their user base. If you look at the AA home page and in AA comments the new stuff is 'GunAuction.com is best seen using Google Chrome or Microsoft IE9 with javascript enabled, and Adobe Flash installed'. Just my opinion. |

Katz is right. It is your computer that is viewing your auction pages incorrectly. Manny and Marcus did a remote view on my computer and found I was using the old IE-7. - When I updated to IE-8 (or maybe it was IE-9), just about all of the viewing issues were fixed. |

| (no avatar) | Hello Bubba J, I use IE-9. My father's auctions displayed correctly in the Classic view, but in the "new mode", the lines of text displayed one on top of the other. I fixed the "new mode" problem by adding <*font style="line-height:125%"*> before the first word of the item description. The change did not adversely affect his auctions in "Classic view". The HTML in your auctions is more complex than what I use, but you still may be able to correct your "new mode" problems by finding the right place(s) to add line height HTML.

Why do they take something that works and improve it to where your average, non-tech savvy guy can't use it anymore? Are they trying to chase us to the dreaded green site, where ignorance is king? |
