The “Fiscal Year 2012 Agriculture, Commerce/Justice/Science (CJS) and Transportation/Housing/Urban Development (THUD) Appropriations bills”, also known as the “Mini-Bus”, was passed by Congress, and signed into law by President Obama on November 18, 2011. The new law reads as follows:

| (no avatar) | As I pointed out in my previous post congress has taken steps to prevent the ATF from performing any such backdoor ban on shotguns. Obama himself signed the restriction into law back in 2011. Short of defying congress and opening itself up to a massive backlash they really have no options available to them other than to abandon the endeavor entirely. |
