Can 45 GAP be made by shortening 45ACP to .750?

Not a good idea the case would need to be reamed as the case walls get thicker as it goes towards the case head.

Safe loads in GAP brass would be overloads in shortened ACP brass .

I used to make 44 Automag Brass from shortened 308 win. brass and they had to be reamed to thin out the case walls. The load data was much different for the cut off 308 and the factory made brass. The internal case capacity was lower which drove up the operating pressure.
