You can run but you can't hide!

Some of those bad guys learned how to fly when hit, too bad.

I get a kick out of the soundtracks on those things, especially the ones which claim to be shots from an A-10's 30mm cannon.  Something which has a cyclic ROF of 4200 RPM does not go "rat-tat-tat".  It makes a loud buzzing noise which is never heard by the target because they're dead by the time the sound gets there.

All that amaazing firepower and to no avail. There is no way to win this so called war. The politicians will never allow us to use the needed force to win.  It's another Viet Nam all over again. We wern't allowed to win that one either. Pakastan gives us lip service and the day we leave Afganastan the Warlords will take over again anyway. I say we get out before even one more of our soldiers are killed for nothing.----Thanks

We should just nuke them till they glow and and have a bunch of us country boys go shoot them in the dark kinda like spot lighten coons at night.

That one that shows what looks to be a soccer field...could be a US football field.

Consider: a UAV isn't much more than a big radio-controlled airplane.  Joe Jihad could use one of the Stinger missles we gave them in the 80's (or the Russian equivalent), and take out a Friday-night football game in Kansas!  They're sitting in a pickup on I-70 (our borders are so porous) and BOOM! - goodbye football fans.

If I've thought of it, you can be sure they have as well.

It is a whole lot more complicated than that. The electronics just to fire the missle alone never mind aim it would astound you. They might crash it but it would require a good sized plane to take the weight up high enough and you have to see where you are which means a camera and remote control. Got about 10 mil you don't know what to do with?? Easier just to crash a pick-up into the place and detonate.    trapper

S4C-Again you"re spouting off nonsense.A stinger is a Heat Seeking, ground to air missile. So a raghead sitting in a pickemup truck on I-70 and hitting a football field would be a neat trick with a stinger-we'll maybe if all the fan's farted at the same time ....Of course,I don't have to tell you that cause you already thought the fart theory!!!!!!

S4C, you are a small thinker. Look at the bigger picture. Iran has been testing missles fired from a ship back into Iran testing grounds. They have been successful at it. When they get nukes all they gotta do is load a couple short range missles on a tanker, drop into the shipping lanes, sail within 200 miles of any US coast line, launch and hit any target within 800 miles inland of the US. Don't worry though as Obama and Iran are still trying to work out the details. We're talking about a lot more here than a football game.
