Thread Title: "Best way to sell misc stuff??"
(no avatar) I had a gun shop a few years back and when we closed I wound up with a lot of stuff clogging up my house. I don't really shoot anymore, just keeping the rare guns I picked up at my store. Anyway I have a bunch of misc stuff, like gun cleaning kits, solvents, etc. I would say about 40-50 pieces all new. Do you guys think it would be better to throw it all into one big lot and sell all of it together, or break it all up and sell them separately? some of the things are only $3 items so it would probably cost more for shipping if someone bought it on the other side of the US.

(no avatar) Bunch up the cheaper items and separate the more desirable or double up a couple of desirable items that may compliment each other. Disco

jessmoon Post #1 is correct. Just make "lots" of the lower priced items and sell the higher volume items seperately. Easiest and most cost effective way to go. Helps to have good pictures of the "lots" also so buyers know what they are getting. Saves you alot of time shipping also. If you start the auctions at a low resonable price you will get more bidders.

(no avatar) Nor_Cal_Liquidators, I guess it all depends on how much time and work you want to put into this stuff. I myself like buying big lots of asst "junk", you may find a diamond in the trash. I'll say list it all together with good pics and let the bidding begin. bob
