Thread Title: "Sad News"
AA-bob

I received a very sad bit of news today from Barbara Trefzer.  She informed me that one of the good guys has gone on ahead to scout out that great hunting lodge in the sky.  Many of you may have known Paul more precisely by his AuctionArms nickname MasterT3.  Barbara and Lana, his daughter have passed on a copy of Paul's obituary for posting for his AuctionArms.com family.  Paul E Trefzer, III, Paul's son will be carrying on the business under the MasterT3 moniker. To the Trefzers we offer our heartfelt condolences and are very sorry for your untimely loss. Barbara, you and your family will be in our prayers.

Barbara has asked for the patience and understanding of all Paul's customers while they work out all the details of  Paul's deals left to be completed.

Paul, so long pardner, you will be missed.  I know you'll have some good stands picked out for us and good huntin' stories to share when we next meet again.

Paul E. Trefzer, Jr.

Paul Edwin Trefzer, Jr. 70 of Sebastian died suddenly Sunday, August 23 at Sebastian River Medical Center.

He was a Florida native, his pioneer family settling in central Florida in the 1820s.

A veteran of the USMC, he served during the Korean conflict.

Paul was very versatile and proud of his accomplishments but he was happiest at being husband, dad and “Ginga” (grandfather). He served as a Florida Highway Patrolman and also was a well-known and respected stockcar driver on the local circuit during his younger years. He had been owner of various car lots and gas stations, later moving into heavy equipment sales. He was involved in real estate, developing Wildwood Acres, the first residential development in Jupiter Farms. He was current co-owner and gunsmith of Paul’s Guns in Sebastian where he turned customers into friends.

Throughout his life he was an avid hunter and fisherman; a present member of the National Rifle Association.

His beloved family include his wife of 53 years, Barbara; his son Paul E., III and wife Veronica; his daughter Lana Denman and husband Ron; his son Tracy; and his three granddaughters Tara, Chelsey and Vanessa. He was predeceased by his sister Shirley Bassett earlier this year.

His family is having a private memorial service. Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, the National Diabetes Foundation or your House of Worship.
