Thread Title: "Cartridge I.D. What Are They?"
(no avatar) I came across some cartridges that look a lot like BB caps but have a pointed bullet. The can says 'Made in Germany', 'Dynamit Nobel Aktiengesellschaft', 'Flobert-Patronen', '100 6mm Spitzkugel'. There is a picture of an acorn on the tin and also stamped on the base of the cartridge. Overall length is about .460, diameter is .225, rim diameter is .270 and the weight if the entire round is a whopping 23 grains. Fit in a 22 chamber is loose. What are they?

(no avatar) There's a rather gross tv show called South Park. One of the characters is named Chef, and his father used the term 'fiti-cent'. Thought you ight have seen it. I think the earlier shows were better because each season got worse than the last to keep up the shock value. So, do I post a BIN for Wali? LOL

brainaxe Just for giggles, while I was at my favorite gun store, I looked for-and found those exact cartridges. They had two types. "Conical" and "Ball". The round plastic tin was yellow with a red cap. And also said "Breach Caps". By the way, 100 were a tidy $24.99!!!(((And I love South Park!)))

WALI I have never seen "SouthPark", but I caught my youngest son watching it and I beat him to death as I didn't want him to be influenced in a bad way. He would have been 20 this year... ;~) lol, WALI............
