Thread Title: "Backed out of purchase."
(no avatar) I have just backed out of a purchase. I really am ashamed of myself, but it was something beyond my control. I have, however, offered to send the seller a PO Moneyorder for $35.00. This will more than cover any sale and relisting fees he will incure. I am sick about not getting the gun, it was to be a present for a good friend of mine. It had all the bell's and whistles. I hope to be able to find something simiular someday. I do not wish to be called a deadbeat bidder, but if that is how you see me, let it be. My feedback at this time is 100%.

Nevada Fatboy U B, The General rule is you bid, you buy, however COMMUNICATION with the seller is the key! If you made a mistake, fine but FOLLOW THROUGH with your Good Intentions to make it right, you cover his costs and maybe a couple xtra bucks for his trouble and you shoudn't have a problem, but Definately Follow Through. If Not, Expect a Negative and a Disabled Account!! JMHO, Good Luck!! .... 209

axolotl Unkle buck; If you and the seller have come to terms, i have no problem with your transaction. You are probably right that some will feel differently and voice thier opinions and call you to task and maybe even a democrat or worse. But as i said, if you have an arraingement with your seller, there should be no negatives given, axolotl

(no avatar) Just spoke to owner and he told me there would be no charge and that he understood things come up. I did convince him to let me pay for his sellers fee, of which he said it was $7.38. He would not let me send more. As I said before, I left it up to him and he was very pleasant about it. He is still going to leave me a positive feedback. Can you beleive that! I do hope to be back as a buyer soon, but it will be after all has settled down on my end. Thank all of you for your vote of cofidence.
