I bow to your more experienced opinions!!! Kelly..... As to being a Democrat, I am a Union Carpenter AND a NRA Instructor.... I get abuse from BOTH sides!!!! |

I've been active in my union, "loyal opposition" I like to think it as, and boy does it tick me off that so much of my dues goes to the Democratic party, as well as the other liberal BS. I always catch a lot of grief when I protest our political endorsments and support of liberal politics. But people who hear "union" give me a lot of grief, even though there are some very strong positives to my union as well as the problems. Then a few days ago I tried something. I wore an NRA shirt to some professional meetings I had to attend with predictable reactions. I got to know some of the new folks and closet gun people who aren't towing the party line, and a bunch of people, the Kumbaya crowd I don't care to deal with anyways, left me alone. It added some fun to a real boring day. |
