HG5487 Here is a well maintained Italian Beretta model 84-BB Cheetah whose career was spent protecting and serving the citizens of Israel with the Mishteret Y’Israel, the Israeli civilian police, in the Jerusalem District. It is necessarily marked with import markings, PW Arms, Redmond, WA, neatly on the forward right side of its frame. Italian Date Code is AZ, manufactured in 1990 for the Israeli Police by Pietro Beretta in Gardone, Italy. Surface detractions include several small etchy rust residue spots on the slide edges and barrel with edge whitening at places on the frame, and scouring on the grip panels. We rate it as Very Good since about 20 percent of its surfaces are affected by our estimate; photos, at any rate, ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. It is certainly excellent mechanically. Bore, chamber, and mechanism are all bright, clean, and excellent. Factory specs are traditional double- and single- action semi automatic pistol – double action on a first shot from resting hammer position, then short-pull single action in the five pound range on subsequent shots. Trigger is .350 serrated face with overtravel stop, and .250 serrated rounded commander style hammer. The 84 BB comes with firing pin safety, but no magazine safety like its Browning cousins. Frame is lightweight alloy. Barrel is 3 3/4 inch chrome lined, and it and the slide and internal parts are steel. Finish is military type matte blue, same as the big brother 92-F. Sights are white dot front and single white dot notched rear, drift adjustable for windage. Slide thickness is 1.062 inches; height is 4 3/4 inches from the top of the rear sight to the floorplate of an in-battery magazine. Maximum overall length is 6 5/8 inches; and weight empty is 24 ounces. The model 84 is one of the best pointing, accurate, and failure-free pistols there is; and we are in stock on plenty of .380 ammo at prices close to what they were in 2008 before the election. Magazines furnished are one each Mec-Gar 13 rounders, and one Browning Factory Nickel 10 rounder; we have plenty of the 10 rounders and they are legal for civilian possession in all jurisdictions. Replacement pricing on the currently produced 84-F Pistols in our area is upwards of $800 apiece. We’re offering the distinguished Israeli-Italian 84BB in the photos, however, to its best bidder on Auction Arms. Not transferable to civilians in California, District of Columbia, or Massachusetts. Civilian buyers in jurisdictions where 13 round magazines are restricted to law enforcement will receive 10 rounders, includes Chicago, Hawaii, New York, Cleveland OH, and Toledo OH.
