If your looking for entry level trap shotgun or just a collector of target shotguns here is a nice piece for you.
This 1959 Zephyr Vandalia was manufactured in Spain. This is a 12 gauge shotgun with a 3-inch chamber. The Simmons rib is 1/2-inch for the full length of the 32-inch barrel that has a .674" choke. The shotgun has a solid rubber recoil pad and several spacers to bring the total Length-of-Pull to 14-1/2" This is an extractor model.
The condition of this shotgun is fair to very good overall. The blue on the barrel has just a hint of fading and there are just a couple of rub marks on the barrel. The bore is nice and shiny, but has a little pitting in the forcing cone. The coin receiver is very nice with just a hint of handling wear. The engraved scroll work still looks pretty fresh. The trigger guard has about 50% of it’s bluing left with some little scratches in the bluing.
The stock has most of it’s finish with just a hint of pealing in a couple of areas. There are a few little dings and dents in the stock, but nothing major. There are some small chips in the stock at the trigger guard area (see photos). Serial#: 139350. STK.#: 18320.
