Someone could outbid you in the final seconds of the auction if your Max Bid isn't high enough. You're not the high Bidder until you've been notified by email that you are. Seller's Description

.256 Win Mag Ammo & Reloading Dies

.256 Winchester Magnum Ammo and Reloading Dies

You are bidding on 500 rounds of .256 Winchester magnum ammo and a set of reloading dies for the same cartridge.  I had a Marlin 62 and Ruger Hawkeye in this caliber, but sold both.  I found this leftover ammo in the bottom of my locker, decided not to get a TC barrel in .256wm, and am cleaning house of un-needed stuff.

Included in this lot are:

Ø      500 rounds of .256wm in reusable boxes

Ø      As new set of Redding reloading dies

Ø      Custom case trimmer guide from Redding

Some of the headstamps on the brass are .357 mag.  These were formed from .357 to .256wm by the folks at Dustin Brass.  Some of the headstamps are the proper “.256 Win Mag” from the 1960s.

Rounds are Hornady 60g jacketed lead, flat nose bullets with 13g of Hodgdon H110 and original 75g spire points.  Both rounds are very accurate to 100 yards from 23” barrels.

This cartridge is popular for centerfire silhouette from pistols, or for a manageable round on varmints.

Questions for Users
(Public)
Q:  I have a model 62 256. Was told only 60 gr will work in gun. How many of the rounds are 60 gr and how many of those rounds are proper 256 head stamp? About how many times were the 60 gr casings reloaded? Do you know if redding dies work on a RCBS press. Do you have an idea of shipping cost to 17050? Thanks, Bob 10/12/2010
A:  Truckin, Thanks for your questions. I was asked to relist this auction by a fella I thought was going to buy it on the first day. I apologize for the missing information that he and I exchanged in e-mail. Please send me an e-mail at classic_guns verizon***GunAuction***. The format in this reply form is too hard for you to see the information I need to send you. Your purchase (if you decide to go ahead) will still happen via Auction Arms. Kris in NY 10/12/2010
