Buyer Tip: If you're the High Bidder in an auction when it closes, don't assume you're the final High Bidder. Someone could outbid you in the final seconds of the auction if your Max Bid isn't high enough. You're not the high Bidder until you've been notified by email that you are. All Auctions are conducted in Pacific Time.

Seller's Description

Guns For Sale - Beretta and Benelli -- BERETTA 1201FP Tactical Semi-Auto 12ga Shotgun

NEW Tactical Semi-Auto 12ga Shotgun with (2) Stocks (1 Police Tactical Stock and 1 Pistol Grip Stock). If it looks like a Benelli, shoots like a Benelli and feels like a Benelli, then it must be a Benelli, right? Nope! This isn't a Benelli, but it's very, very close to it. This shotgun is very similar to the Benelli M1 Super 90 Semi-Auto Tactical Shotgun and some of the parts are virtually identical, since it was manufactured for Beretta at the Benelli factory alongside Benelli tactical shotgun models. At only 6 3/4 pounds empty Beretta’s 1201FP weighs in a full pound less than its competitors, the Remington 1100 / 11-87 Police models. Its center of gravity is distributed more toward the muzzle than the Remington, and that enhances its controllability in protracted firing sessions. It matches its chief competitor, the Benelli M1 Super 90 not only on weight, but also on internal design. Beretta simply marketed their own inertia-operated version to compete, and it is just as simple, just as reliable, and it blew the Benelli away on pricing, by about 40 percent. It is believed that the 1201FP’s discontinuance in 2004 was a result of the threat of litigation from Benelli USA. The Benelli and Beretta shotgun system is much faster firing than the slow but good Remingtons. As far as specs, this type is an inertia-action semi-auto shotgun; weight empty 6 3/4 pounds; barrel is 18 inch .715 Police Cylinder, about the same as Remington’s usual Improved Cylinder on their police guns; chambering accepts 2 3/4 inch and 3 inch shells interchangeably; high impact polymer foregrip and buttstock that will give or bend under recoil. Replacement pricing on the nearly identical M-1 Super 90 is upwards of $1500 apiece, when you can find one. This particular model is even more scarce than usual because it came equipped with the SWAT Barrel and Sawtooth Door Breach Muzzle Brake. This particular model is RARE and hard to find especially in NEW condition. It is on display in Las Vegas, Nevada. If you would like to inspect it in person, please contact me for more information. Here is a great excuse to go to Las Vegas, on business, of course! Please note that this shotgun is also subject to prior sale, since it is currently on consignment, but as soon as actual bidding starts, I will call and have it taken off consignment. FREE SHIPPING to continental USA; Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico will cost extra for shipping; please inquire for details. No shipments to any state or locale where this rifle is illegal to purchase or own. I have to use a dealer to ship this rifle, so please be patient; I will try to expedite shipping as quickly as possible. It will only be shipped to an FFL holder. VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: Any and all returns will incur a 10% re-stocking fee charged by the dealer where I have the rifle on consignment (I have no control over this, since they are doing the shipping). PAYMENT: The BEST payment types DISCREET PayPal (fastest shipping and I will absorb the 3%) or a USPS Money Order. NOTE: The last GPal “payment” accepted was over 2 months ago for $42.00 and it has still not been credited by GPal. We will no longer accept GPal as a payment method. Sorry about any inconvenience this may cause. I do not recommend using GPal for any reason. They simply do not PAY the sellers. They mark the transaction “completed” without ever sending the payment to the seller. They also never respond to emails or US Mail, nor do they respond to phone messages. Another word of caution: As a buyer, if you make a payment through GPal, you may be unable to get your money back when sellers refuse to accept your GPal payment. Thanks for looking and Good Luck! The pictures are actual photos. Please feel free to ask questions.
