This auction is for a matching assembly number (9214) barrel and cylinder set for a Merwin, Hulbert & Co. Third Model Small Frame five(5) shot .32 caliber revolver. This set was manufactured about 1890. The barrel is three(3) inches in length with a very good bore having sharp, well defined lands and grooves, and is in excellent overall condition. The cylinder is in excellent overall condition. Both parts retain about 95% original nickel finish. Both parts are very "shootable" and function perfectly when placed on a small frame Merwin. If you have a really nice condition matching assembly numbers Third Model Small Frame .32 caliber Merwin revolver that you have a desire to load and shoot, having a spare barrel/cylinder combination makes it easy to do so without having any effect on your original condition barrel and cylinder. As with all antique firearms, and parts thereof, these old parts should be inspected by a competent, knowledgeable gunsmith before actually shooting them. My description of these old parts is detailed and accurate, so these items are being sold "AS IS". If you already have a five(5) inch barrel length revolver, having this three(3) inch barrel makes for a nice looking barrel display set. $12.00 S&H. Bank check, postal money order or personal check. (must clear) Payment due within seven(7) calendar days of end of auction. These are antique firearm parts and ship direct to you via Priority Mail.
