Seller's Description

Guns For Sale - Kolb, Henry M. -- Engraved 1910 Baby Hammerless Revolver .22 - C&R

Gun: This is a Kolb Baby Hammerless model of 1910. The gun is a 6 shot, .22 caliber revolver without a visible hammer. The top strap is marked: PATS. APRIL 5 10 / Baby Hammerless / Model 1910." The serial number on the inside left grip frame is 380. The gun has pearl grips and is beautifully engraved. The finish on the small parts is a fire blue, the finish on the base pin and cylinder is a rust blue and the frame is a nice straw color finish.

Condition: The metal looks like a modern application after a modern engraving. The markings are still visible and the engraving is sharp. All metal finishes are about 95%+ and may have not been fired since application. The right grip is cracked into pieces and held with tape, a chip is missing at the top rear of the right grip panel. The bore has visible rifling but moderate roughness. All screw heads are good. The action is tight, the springs are functional.

Accompanying the pistol is a vintage blue velvet case marked: HENRY KOHN & SONS / HARTFORD CONN.
