This is a Century Arms Mosin Nagant 91/30 which was reworked and modified into a late War configured PU sniper. Where this was done, and by whom, is unknown to me, but a certificate in cyrillic, referencing the 3.5 power scope, is included, as are all the accessories which accompanied it. The scope is clear and bright, and bore-sights to good for the horizontal/deflection/azimuth. The vertical/elevation is set so that the reticule is centered at 100M. This can be easily change by a quick adjustment of the opposing screws situated within the base specifically for that purpose. The bore is reflective though not mirror bright, and is very strong; throat, muzzle and throughout its entire length. The stock may be Wartime as it has the two-piece splice at the lower 20% of the butt-stock, but it is marked with the boxed-diagonal and has been refinished to 'like new'. The bolt is stampmatched to the receiver and includes the two cyrillic letter prefix. The bolt is well fitted, smug and butter-smooth for a Mosin, and the trigger is also smooth with a sharp and surprising break. The magazine cover is electro-penciled to match, the butt-plate is stamp-numbered but does not. Hopefully the pictures will clearify any points which I have overlooked. There are no unpleasent surprises associated with this rifle. For what it is, it is an excellent example and a set-asside from the first batch which came to us. EDIT: The sight picture is of 100 meters, plus or minus a foot or so.
