Seller's Description

Guns For Sale - Walther -- WWII German PPK Eagle C Police w/Full Rig

WW2 Walther PPK, Hi-Polish, Police Eagle "C" marked,, Comes with 2 original flat based magazines (not numbered)and a mint brown Schumbach Police Eagle "B" marked holster. The pistol is factory new, never fired, retaining 99%+ of its original factory blue mirror finish. Any shadows in the photos are just lighting issues. There is a 1/4" hairline crack in the top of the backstrap grip. This is very common with older PPKs. If you collect them, you already know about it. It is not noticable and does not take away from the appearance of the pistol. The finish is spotless looking like it and the holster was made last week. It is an absolutely beautiful gun and could be the centerpiece of most collections. It came from the Lynn Lugar collection and probably can't be upgraded. Its the best of the best so it isn't cheap. Here is your chance to own a magnificent part of WWII history so don't let it get by. You will kick yourself a week from tomorrow if you do!

Questions for Users
(Public)
Q:  can i get the full serial number and the reserve price. 04/22/2010
A:  Thank you for your interest. I do not give out my reserve price. The serial number is 3338XX K. That should be enough to look it up in any resource material. Alan 04/23/2010

(Public)
Q:  can i get a pic of both sides of the ppk in natural outdoor indirect light? 04/23/2010
A:  Sure, I will add them in a couple of minutes. Thanks for your interest. Alan 04/23/2010

(Public)
Q:  two last questions...does the internal slide number match the last three of the serial number, and do u offer a inspection period? 04/23/2010
A:  Yes, the internal slide number matches the last three of the serial number. As per Auction Arms requirements, I offer a three day inspection period. Buyer's remorse is not an acceptable reason for return however. Alan 04/23/2010

Q:  Could you please post a picture of the back of the grip? I would like to see how bad the crack is. Could you also tell me if the holster has the serial number of the pistol? Have they always been together? 04/25/2010
A:  The holster has the number 44 stamped inside. There is no serial number. The pistol and holster came together from the Lynn Luger collection. They both look like new. I can't speak for their history before I bought them, but I always thought they were a match. I have also posted a close-up pic of the grip crack in the backstrap. 04/26/2010
