Seller's Description

Guns For Sale - -- REMINGTON MODEL 30 EXPRESS 30 SPRINGFIELD 1906

If you like the older Remington rifles here is a very nice and scarce one for you in 30-06 CAL. The rifle retains over 90% original blue, the pics are showing glare, not missing blue. Wood has a couple of slight pressure marks, almost all of its original finish and slight darkening at the wrist. Checkering is very nice and sharp. Bore and action are excellent, this rifle looks all original and does not appear to have been fired much. This is an excellent example and looks much nicer in person. A very nice late 1920's Remington, the best model 30 I have seen. Will need an FFL or C&R where permitted. If you need another pic or have any questions please ask prior to bidding.

Questions for Users
(Public)
Q:  I would like to see a pic of the buttplate. Is the wood free of cracks and chips? It doesn't look like the gun has been drilled and tapped, is that correct? Has the stock been inletted for any type of additional sight? Thanks Pic to escocorproadrunner***GunAuction*** 03/26/2010
A:  Hello, I will try to get a pic of the buttplate tomorrow AM in the meanwhile it is as nice as the rest of the rifle with no problems. The wood has no cracks or chips, no holes other than the factory tapping for a Lyman 48R on right side of receiver. This is one of the nicest unenhanced late 20's rifles I have seen in quite a while. 03/26/2010
