Offered from an estate reduction is a Colt Courier in .22 LR. Piece retains 99%+ original factory bluing with a 3” barrel bearing serial number is 45XXX. According to my research these revolvers were a jump off of the Colt Cobra but were only offered in .32 and .22 LR. They were built during the time frame 1955-56 and only 3053 (total-all calibers) were put onto the market with the majority chambered for .32. How often do you see one of these come available let alone in the condition of this one. The condition of the factory blue is such that there are two dings which I have tried to photograph. One shows a scratch behind the thumb piece and the other shows an incredibly small silver spot on the bottom of the trigger guard. There is just a hint, and I really mean hint, of muzzle wear. There is a light cylinder index mark. The piece is tight. The bore is bright and shiny and there is no indication of cylinder pin wobble or end shake. Cylinder times and indexes correctly with no “failure to carry up”. Not bad for a 57 year old gun.
