Seller's Description

Guns For Sale - DWM -- 1909 Argentine Mauser Calvary Carbine

The 1909 Mauser is considered by many to be the best of the milatary Mauser rifles. These are highly sought after by custom gun makers and shooters alike. The 7.65x53 Argentine cartridge is common and even Hornaday is loading ammo and Graff and Sons and midway have brass available. This rifle was made by German craftsmen prior to WW1. The pre war quality is well known to collectors and shooters. The bore while not new is bright and shiny with strong rifling. Both the bolt and reciever have matching serial numbers. The stock has the usual storage dings as the pictures show, and the crest while faint is visable. This is a no reserve auction. Please feel free to ask questions and thanks for looking.
