Buyer Tip: If you're the High Bidder in an auction when it closes, don't assume you're the final High Bidder. Someone could outbid you in the final seconds of the auction if your Max Bid isn't high enough. You're not the high Bidder until you've been notified by email that you are. Features and Information: This auction is for a Springfield Model 1899 Krag Carbine. It is .30/40 cal. The cartouche is dated 1900. It does come with a oiler and cleaning rod. The rear sight is a carbine sight and does have a C on it. The handguard has the correct clips and it is marked 99. The handguard does not appear to have had any repairs done to it. I am not a gun dealer and am guessing at the NRA Condition. If you have any questions or would like to make an offer, please feel free to email jr49341@comcast.net. A FFL is required for shipping.

LEGAL REQUIREMENTS: Modern firearms must be transferred through a licensed FFL dealer in your area. The bidder is required to supply a signed copy of their local dealer's license before shipment. Antique firearms require the bidder to supply proof of age in the form of a copy of their driver's license. Some areas require a FFL transfer for antique and black powder firearms (New Jersey, NYC, etc.). It is the buyer's responsibility to find out if there are any special regulations in their area before bidding.

These items will ship in 3 to 4 days. Items paid for with personal or business checks will ship 2 weeks from the date the check is deposited.

SHIPPING: Buyer pays shipping costs. Shipping will be actual costs to be figured at the end of auction based upon your zip code. U.S. sales only.

SAFETY NOTICE: The buyer is solely responsible for determining that a used firearm is safe to shoot. The firearms offered have not been test fired. Whether purchased here or somewhere else we urge every buyer to have any used firearm they purchase inspected by a qualified gunsmith before firing.

RETURN POLICY: All firearms come with a 3-day (M-F) inspection/return privilage. The inspection period begins at the time of delivery to your dealer of if antique, delivery to you. It is the buyer's responsibility to inspect the firearm within this time frame. In case of a return, the buyer pays all shipping costs. This does not cover items damaged in shipment; you must save the damaged shipping box and file a claim with the appropriate shipping company. All returned items must be in the exact condition that they left us. Inspection does not include firing of the firearm, if the buyer does fire the firearm at any time during the inspection period, the sale is considered final. Inspection consists of external examination, functioning the action by hand to see if it operates, checking the bore and having the headspace checked by a gunsmith. No further disassembly is permitted, including but not limited to turning any screws or removing any punch pins.

Please ask questions or ask for more pictures before bidding if you are unsure of anything about this item.
