Questions for Users

    Q:  hello.will this need a ffl??? 02/23/2010
        A:  I think so..yes 02/25/2010

Q:  The gun is an antique... a mid-1800s breechloading conversion of a French muzzleloading musket. The Belgians converted these to shotgun for the civilian trade. AF likely indicates the maker Auguste Francotte. The ELG in an oval is the Liege proof mark up to 1893 (crown over the oval after that,) so the gun shouldn't require an FFL unless some particular State law requires it. 02/26/2010
