SHIPMENT REQUIREMENTS: All firearms must be shipped to an FFL holder. C&R licenses are accepted on LONG GUNS ONLY, and if the item is on the C&R list and you can send this to me in writing with your license and payment. We must have a signed, legible copy of the FFL before we can ship the firearm. We accept both faxed and mailed copies. The faxed FFL must reference an auction number or have a cover sheet that does. Please reference an auction number with payment and your FFL if it comes separately or is mailed. We have hundreds of auctions going at all times and it makes it faster if we have your information. We know that you are anxious to get your purchase and this will help us get it to you as quickly as possible with no delays due to us having to research what you bought.
CONTACT AND LOCAL PICKUP: We have a retail location and are happy to accommodate you if you wish to pick the auction up in person and we can legally transfer it to you. We require you to make an appointment. Our hours are Monday-Thursday from 9:00AM until 4:00 PM. Occasionally, we are here on Fridays, but never on the weekends. Our phone number is 817.740.9933. Unfortunately, we do not have auctions out to be previewed before bidding. Check our feedback and you will see that we try to deliver exactly what you expect an item to be. Any auction won and picked up locally will be delivered after successfully passing a NICS background check and filling out an ATF form 4473. The purchase is subject to 8.25% sales tax.
SALES TAX: All Texas residents are required to pay sales tax. If you are a TEXAS FFL holder, and buying it for resale, we must have a signed resale certificate, not a copy of your tax number, before we can ship. This always seems to be an issue when dealing with dealers from Texas. We have included a link to print this form and fill it out and send with FFL and payment: http://www.window.state.tx.us/taxinfo/taxforms/01-339.pdf If you do not live in Texas or it is not delivered to you in Texas, you are not subject to any sales tax being paid to us. Any tax levied by the state in which you live is your responsibility to pay to your transferring dealer.
PAYMENT: We accept bank certified checks, cashiers checks, personal checks and money orders as forms of payment. We now accept MASTERCARD and VISA as payment options. This is a quick way to get your item sent now that a faxed FFL may be used. Our fax number is 817.740.9646. We charge a 3% convenience fee for credit card payments. PAYPAL is NOT an option, as payment.
SHIPMENT: All long guns to the lower 48 are shipped FedEx Ground insured. Rates listed as shipping costs pertain to buyers in the lower 48 states. We are also happy to ship to an approved dealer to our friends in California. If you live in Alaska or Hawaii, please inquire as to what the shipment cost will be. Handguns are shipped USPS Priority Mail insured with Delivery Confirmation. The listed rate applies to the lower 48 states, as well as Alaska and Hawaii. We do not ship handguns to C and R license holders.
INSPECTION PERIOD: We offer a 3 day inspection on any item shipped, except ammunition. If you are local and chose to pick up your item, the inspection period is waived. Purchases must be returned in same condition as shipped and be unfired. All shipping costs are at the expense of the buyer in the event of a return. Inspection period begins at the time the purchase arrives at your dealer, so have the dealer call you when it arrives. Your name and phone number that is listed on GunAuction.com will be listed on the invoice, so there is no excuse for them to not contact you.
ABOUT US: We are Federally Licensed Firearms Dealers with many years of experience in this business. We include a copy of our license with every firearm purchase along with a detailed invoice that includes the auction number, the purchasers name and phone number, as well as a detailed description of the gun. We try to make it as easy as possible on the transferring dealer to get your purchase to you in a timely fashion.
OTHER FAQ GENERIC QUESTIONS: We have hundreds of used guns in stock at all times. Because this is the case, some of the questions that a potential buyer might ask, are not ones that we can answer. We are not the original owner, we have no idea how many times that they have been shot, what type of ammo was used, how often it was cleaned, etc. We do not shoot any of them unless it is otherwise specified. Any boxes, extra magazines, original grips, scope rings, etc will be photographed and/or listed in the description. Anything that might possibly add value to the item will be in the photo or in our description.
OFFERS: We try to research every auction that we list to be price competitive with competing or past auctions at the time of listing. Because this is the case with us, we don’t have any desire to sell a gun for less than we list it for. We realize that certain guns have longer market times than others and have the patience to let the item find a happy home.
TRADES: If you have something that you feel might interest us, please feel free to contact us. We find it difficult to accomplish this most of the time, due to shipping, transfer fees, etc, but we are always willing to listen to what you might have.
