Revolver is very clean overall and was in the same family since new. The serial number (148423) indicates it was manufactured by Colt in 1918. Bore is bright/clean with evident rifling and NO pitting. There is some minor thinning to the metal components overall but most all of the original bright blued finish remains with some areas (grip strap) beginning to lightly brown (see photos). Grips are the original hard rubber style are clean overall showing very light use and wear. Action is tight and crisp.
Great opportunity to add a clean Colt New Service to your collection. Leather holster is included as purchased with the revolver. It is the civilian version of the WWI style military holster (see photos).
