You are looking at a Ruger M77 in .220 Swift. It has been used in the field but is very good for it's age. Minor wood blemishes and 90% metal finish. Sitting on top is a Tasco bullet drop compensating 6-24x40 scope that is dead nut accurate. This particular rifle is my own cherished possession. I am the only one who has ever owned it. Bore is solid! (that means there is nothing to worry about AT ALL for those who have heard horror stories about Swifts). First of all it has had a steady diet of handloads loaded at .222 specs. The swift is capable of 4000 fps+, but it really is much more suited for lower velocities. Case in point when I slowed it down I punched through 1/4" deck plate when it was just splattering at higher speeds with not so much as a dent. Any ways it is a very very very accurate rifle, more accurate than I am any more. This is TRUELY a "one hole" rifle. I have sent a bullet through the neck of a beer bottle and knocked out the bottom at 100 yds! On paper after the first shot from rest you will swear you have missed the next two...look again they all went through almost the same spot. I have dropped a coyote at a lasered distance of 410 yds, (stepped off at 390, so lets say 400yds.) Due to the loss of my wife I am forced to part with some of my weapons. This is like selling one of the kids. You get everything you see here, a new case, reloading dies, bi-pod, Buy-it-now and I'll throw in the hat and my secret load info that I spent many yrs perfecting, you won't find it elsewhere! Payment must be here in 7 days unless otherwise agreed upon.
