Seller's Description

Guns For Sale - Ruger Bicentennial Series -- 1976 Model Blackhawk Stainless .357 Magnum

THIS IS THE MUCH SOUGHT AFTER BECENTENNIAL REVOLVER!!! These are rare, especially in this condition!! This belongs to a retired friend, who is disposing of some of his hard-earned treasures. This is listed as "excellent" because the person who sold it to my friend, Larry, said it was "unfired", and despite the cylinders not having blast rings, we have no pure or certain proof of that. However, it gauges new, so it may BE "new old stock". 6 1/2" barrel. It sure wasn't used or carried much, and it'd be great if we had the box and instructions, but we don't. See the markings for verification of the date. This is sometimes called the "BiCentennial Edition". Serial number is 33-43801. All the details are in the photos. I particularly like the lack of extraneous stamped instructions on the barrel!!!

Payment and Shipping Instructions:
Gunpal opening price will reflect a consignment surcharge as noted. $18.75 SHI. I do NOT use UPS! No paypal, no credit cards. Prefer money orders or cashier's checks. I will ship to California, but only upon receipt of a $20 non-refundable surcharge/nuisance fee for doing the pre-clearance. MUST HAVE FFL VIA MAIL, I do not have a fax machine!! Again: NO FAXED FFL's!!!!!!!!!! If you have questions, ask BEFORE you bid, not after. Virtually all shipping goes out USPS Priority Mail, albeit if it is faster in a particular case and way, sometimes FedEx is employed. UPS is NEVER used. We do sometimes employ local and area carriers, if they are faster, but you will be advised and provided with plenty of information. Money orders or cashier's checks ONLY, see notations on GunPal. Bids here reflect 3% discount for cash/money order--GunPal consignment surcharge is 3% of close price! That will be on your invoice if you use GunPal as your payment instrument! Again: I do not have a fax machine.
Payment Methods:

Money Orders,  Cashiers Checks,

Ships Using:
 United States Postal Service  FedEx

Questions for Users
(Public)
    Q:  I apologize. I now see there's no box/papers. Sorry for the trouble. 02/07/2010
A:  I see you noticed that in the auction. My friend, Larry, whose revolver this is, purchased this and several other garden variety Rugers and Ruger "specials" and commemoratives from the same guy. This and the 77 bolt rifle, also listed here, are the last of the lot. It seems the guy seldom, if ever, fired anything but ALWAYS tossed the boxes and instructions and so on. 02/08/2010

Q:  Hello Mr. Thompson. As I am new to Auction Arms I am not familar with how everything works - the do's and don'ts. I would be intersted in making you an offer for both the Blackhawk and the rifle but do not know how to go about it. If it isn't "against the rules" could you send me an email and explain how I should go about this? Thanks, Ken 02/08/2010
A:  I doubt very much that Larry will do this. But I did contact him. Obviously, we can reduce shipping somewhat if you bid on both, but not entirely, since these all have to be insured for full pop value. But if he says o.k., I will let you know. 02/09/2010
