Seller's Description

Guns For Sale - Iver Johnson Arms, Inc. -- Defender 89, spur trigger revolver

This is a basic auction for a Iver Johnson Defender 89. Apparently Iver Johnson made some improvementa and/or modifications to the design in 1889 hence defender 89. This gun is in very nice condition as refinished. It has been chromed but does look nice. Walnut grips are very good with some minor dents. Operationally it needs some work to advance the cylinder. I believe the lever arm is either disconnected or the lever spring is missing. Lock up on cock and fire is good. The cylinder just don"t advance cause the lever does not stay engaged to the cylinder. It has a 2 1/2 inch barrel. Shoots a .32 rim fire ctg and holds 5 shots. Can be a nice gun with some handy work.
